The War We Fight
You may not realize it, but you are right in the middle of a great war. It’s the war of the ages; the war which has caused every other war in the history of humanity. It is the war between good and evil; between God and Satan, and you are right in the middle of it.
Ever since Satan fired the first shot against humanity in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3), Adam and Eve and all their descendants have been held as prisoners of war in slavery to sin; the chains which keep us from our Heavenly Father. The chains of sin are a death sentence and cannot be broken by any human means.
There is, however, a way to be freed from the bonds of sin and join in the fight against evil. Only Jesus can free us from our captivity to sin. Under His command, we can become active soldiers for His Kingdom, working to free countless other POW’s. Make no mistake; you ARE part of this war, and if you don’t fight, many will die.
The war is on, and we are being called to fight. The Scriptures exhort us (and certain men of the Bible) to arm ourselves for battle, to love good and hate evil, and to stand firm and strong in the Lord’s strength.
Prepare for the spiritual Fight!
Basic Boot Camp is a series of ten teachings for the believer who desires to go to the next level in their Christian walk.
Your Call and Purpose: The believer needs to know whom they are in Christ Jesus and that there is a call on their life from the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:3-5)
Inner Healing: Before the believer can operate in this call they need to be healed and restored. Without Spot or Wrinkle Ministries accomplishes this by teaching and bringing inner healing based on (Isaiah 61:1) “…to bind up the broken hearts and set the captives free…”
The Truth about Un-forgiveness: In this teaching the believer learns what Jesus Christ did for us at Calvary, and that our fight is not with flesh and blood. This teaching is based on (Matthew 18:21-35), we must forgive the way we were forgiven or we will be turned over to the tormentors.
Repentance. This is the first message of the kingdom based on (Matthew 3:1-2). Repentance is not just being sorry for our sin, but turning away from it. We teach the believer how to repent, renounce the demon behind the sin, and break Satan’s power over them.
Prayer: Some Christians do not know how to develop their prayer life, in this teaching we give them the tools to do this. (Matthew 6:5-13)
Fasting: Fasting is a lost art in the body of Christ, as we read throughout scripture it was used for spiritual warfare, if we have ever needed it, we need it now. (Matthew 6:16-18)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit: we have no understanding of spiritual issues; the word says the Holy Spirit is our teacher - He gives us boldness, the gifts for the profit of all, and the ability to bear fruit – all for the glory of God. (Acts2: 2-4)
Spiritual Warfare: it is very important that we teach this truth from the word of God and in balance. Satan does have certain legal rights to infest the believer in their soul realm. When a believer becomes born again, his spirit becomes alive to God, but his soul needs to be restored (Psalms 23:3); the soul realm consists of the mind, emotions, and will. The mind has to be renewed by the word of God; it is the battleground (2 Corinthians 10:3). The emotions need to be healed (Isaiah 61:1), our will needs to become the will of God (Matthew 7:21), and then the flesh needs to be crucified (Galatians 5:24).
Financial Freedom: There are curses on the believer due to disobedience. Satan has perpetrated against the body of Christ to withhold finances to thwart the spread of the good news to the nations. (Malachi 3:8-11)
Temperaments: As God restores the Church to Himself, He is restoring relationships we are to be of one heart, one mind, one accord, and nothing will be withheld from us. We need to understand each other and ourselves, then embrace and celebrate our differences. (1Corinthians 12:12)
