The Good News of Salvation

The scripture in Isaiah 61:1-3 speaks of the good news of salvation available to everyone. The passage talks about how God has anointed His people to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken-hearted, and free the captives. It also speaks of the day of God's vengeance and the comfort that will be given to those who mourn. The Lord promises to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. This message is of hope and restoration for all who believe in Yeshua/Jesus. Let us spread this good news to those around us and be a witness to God's love and mercy.

 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3

Kingdom Message

In Luke 4:14-19, 43, it is written that Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of Him spread throughout the surrounding region. He taught in synagogues and was glorified by all. When He arrived at Nazareth, His hometown, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and read from the book of the prophet Isaiah. He declared that The Spirit of the Lord had anointed him to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, recover sight to the blind, and set the oppressed at liberty. He then declared that He must preach the kingdom of God to other cities, as that was the purpose for which He had been sent. This event marked the beginning of Jesus' public ministry.

“Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.  And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”….but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also because I have been sent for this purpose.” Luke 4:14-19, 43,

Fivefold Ministry

In Ephesians 4:11-16, we read about the different roles God has given to leaders in the church, including apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. These leaders are tasked with equipping the saints for ministry work and building up the body of Christ. Through their teaching and guidance, we can all grow in our faith and knowledge of the Son of God, becoming mature and strong in our walk with Christ. As we work together, using our unique gifts and talents, we can contribute to the growth of the body of Christ and build each other up in love. Let us strive to support and encourage our church leaders as they lead us in fulfilling this vital mission.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:11-16

This ministry is based on the Remnant Theology

John 4:21-24 “ Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father inspirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
